You may satisfy the requirement with renters insurance or another qualifying policy from a provider you choose, with proof before move-in and throughout the lease. If acceptable proof is not on file, the home is automatically enrolled in Highland’s $15 monthly Liability to Landlord Insurance program. LLI protects Highland’s interest and is not renters insurance; it does not cover personal belongings, additional living expenses, or personal liability to third parties.

Yes, subject to landlord approval. The one-time non-refundable pet fee is $300 for one pet or $500 for two pets. Monthly pet rent is $30 for one pet or $50 for two pets. There is no separate pet deposit. Approved assistance animals are not charged pet fees or pet rent.

Move-in is scheduled for 5:00 PM or later on the lease start date. Earlier exceptions may be coordinated with management. Gas and electric must be in the resident’s name by move-in and remain active through lease expiration.
